    I’ve benefited by reduced pain caused by thoracolumbar scoliosis, reduced pain from a prolapsed disc, great improvements in singing due to learning abdominal breathing. Al has taught me to keep a straight yet relaxed spine. The yogic technique to breathe fully really helps with minor stresses in the day. Finally one improvement which I can’t disclose lest I offend the more puritanical!

    Had a brilliant beginners yoga session with Al. She really put me at my ease and made me feel relaxed. Owing to a temperamental arm and general stiffness I wasn't able to attempt some of the poses, but Al being such a good teacher, was able to offer alternative poses and stretches. I will certainly be completing the course with Al and will sign up to a regular class with her in the future.

    Al’s sessions fit in well with my home/work-life balance. She is a great teacher with a very calm and therapeutic voice. I’ve learned that when I’m not practicing yoga with Al I really miss it. Her teaching has made me feel relaxed, calm and stretched! Really helpful after a day of sitting at the computer. I now can move more freely and my breathing feels more calm. It’s such a great stress relief :)
